How should Insulin Be Stored:
All insulin formulations should be stored in a refrigerator at 36°F to 46°F (2°C to 8°C) before use to keep their quality until the expiration date.
Insulin must be stored below 76°F to 86°F (below 24°C to 30°C), but should never be allowed to freeze and should not be exposed to direct sunlight.
Insulin in use that is exposed to temperatures above 86°F or below freezing can be damaged and spoiled. Damaged insulin is not visible to the naked eye.
